This year’s theme: “FEEL THE IMPACT!!”
〜JAPAN CARNIVAL CANAVALAVA Participation Requirements〜
＊Anyone who wants to join and have fun together!
＊Participants from outside Kochi Prefecture are very welcome!
＊Parent-child participation is also encouraged!
＊First-timers are warmly welcomed!
＊Ability to act in a team/group setting is a must.
※We strictly do not allow any inappropriate behavior, outfits, or speech that is not suitable for the team.
※In-person practice will be held in Kochi and Tokyo.
■Event Dates
August 10 (SUN)
August 11 (MON), 2025
*You may join for just one day if needed.
■Number of Participants
First 100 applicants only
(Participation options: Dancer, Band Member, Lantern Bearer – non-dancing role)
*Applications will close once all spots are filled.
■Participation Fee (ages 5–55 for first-time participants)
¥44,000 (Costume A / Mens)
¥55,000 (Special Costume)
¥38,000 (Ages 5–19, tax included)
*For Special Costume: additional ¥11,000
*University students must provide a copy of their student ID upon registration
*Final deadline: June 30. After July 1, the fee will increase to ¥50,000 (tax included) and up.
*Minors (ages 5+) must have a guardian’s signed consent form
*Fee includes: meals, drinks, costume, insurance, and practice sessions
*Please prepare your own naruko clappers (standard red-black) and black sneakers

In-person practice starts:
Tokyo: June 14
Kochi: June 15
*Important updates (practice dates, locations, etc.) will be shared through an official group chat for participants.
